BBQ with Rum

Ingredients

  • 2 cups ketchup
  • ½ cup rum
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cane molasses
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon chilli flakes
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Put all the ingredients in a pot and mix well.
  2. Bring it to a boil and reduce the heat to medium. Cook, stirring constantly for 5-10 minutes until thickened.
  3. Turn off the heat and let it cool.
