Golden BBQ sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of mustard
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Cayenne

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a pot and cook over low heat for 30 minutes.
  2. Be sure to stir the sauce often to prevent burning.
  3. Once cooked, remove from heat and allow the sauce to cool to room temperature before using. If made ahead of time, cool completely, place in an airtight container, and refrigerate for up to 1 week after preparation.
