This non-contact infrared thermometer measures surface temperatures from -58F to 1112F in under half a second, using a 12:1 distance-to-spot ratio so you can safely gauge a grate, cast-iron skillet, or griddle top from a foot away. A laser sighting dot pinpoints exactly where you are reading, while adjustable emissivity settings let you dial in accurate results on reflective stainless surfaces as well as matte cast iron. Ideal for finding hot spots before searing, checking pizza stone preheat, or verifying griddle temperature zones.
